Animal House

New SBC Photo Annual is out. Best flicks by the best. Cool little write up/photos with Scott Pommier, killer shots by Gordon Nicholas, and one of my good friend Brooks Reynolds portraits made it in

At the same time while he was out in Vancouver this summer he captured this shot of me fresh out of face transplant surgery

stoops

Really dig this photo…cool perspective and badass as fuck. I could be wrong but it looks like there might be some spraypainted “Sonny Barger” support on the wall as well.

The Great Storm of '75

Rolling Thunder Revue- Bob Dylan’s travelling caravan tour featuring Dylan, Joan Baez, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Bob Neuwirth, among others. Allen Ginsburg even joined for the first leg of the tour.

Dylan made the surprising theatrical choice of wearing whiteface make-up at many of the shows. Sometimes, he even walked on stage wearing a plastic mask, only to toss it aside after the first song to play harmonica on “It Ain’t Me, Babe”. At one of the shows a heckler asked Dylan “Why are you wearing a mask?” to which Dylan replied, “The meaning is in the words.”

Legend.
